Bar Marenda Daylesford

Bar Merenda is the newest wine bar in town, and it’s located on How Street in Daylesford.

Andy and Clare are the Sydney couple behind this new spot, and they’re bringing their love of wine to Daylesford. The wine list is personalised, featuring French, Italian or local Victorian wines that you can enjoy with food from their all-bar food menu. Think charcuterie platters and terrine, as well as small plates like olives, cheese and cured meats.

Their mismatched tables and chairs add to the laid back vibe of Bar Merenda’s interior design. With its high bar table seating available for groups of up to eight people, this place is perfect for a date night or a catch up with friends over a glass (or two) of vino!

Bar Merenda is open on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Friday from 4pm, Saturdays from 12.30pm and Sundays from 2pm.

Come and join the team at Bar Merenda for a fantastic selection of wines, sprits, aperitivi, beer and cocktails. The wine list by the glass is on the blackboard and the by the bottle is probably too long to list anywhere. Have a chat with the team to find your perfect bottle of wine, local or imported.

This new wine bar is the perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink before heading to Bistro Terroir or The Lake House. You can make a booking via email on [email protected] and walk-ins are always welcome.

Quite recently, the team at Bar Merenda started hosting Wine Dinners, which just sound delightful. The first one was with their friends from Paski Vineria Popolare in Sydney and sold out in no-time.
