The Daylesford Hotel

The Daylesford Hotel is a 100 year old building standing proudly at roundabout connecting the main streets in Daylesford (Vincent, Howe and Albert Street). A fantastic country style pub with a dining room, a front bar and multiple accommodation possibilities.

The Front Bar and Restaurant at The Daylesford Hotel

On the ground floor of the hotel are the Front Bar and the dining room located. The feel is a typical country pub and on the menu you will find staples like chicken parma, crispy skin barramundi, duck pappardelle, steak and the weekly changing Daylesford Hotel pie.  A fantastic atmosphere and reliable modern Australian cuisine is served up by head chef Bradley Jenkins.

The front Bar is a perfect place to enjoy one of the many local wines, a Daylesford Draught or a nice cocktail. Most Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays, live music is performed in the front bar. For the latest update of gigs at The Daylesford Hotel, check their website here.

The Daylesford Hotel is open for dinner Thursday to Sunday from 5.30pm and for lunch on Saturday and Sundays between midday and 3pm. Making a reservation is highly recommended, call (03) 5348 2335.

Hotel Accommodation

The Daylesford Hotel has a number of accommodation types available, which are located on the first floor of the hotel. All rooms are what they call “classic pub style”, so don’t expect hotel style accommodation.

The property has 7 hotel rooms, four king bed rooms and three queen bed rooms. All rooms have heating, but no air-conditioning or TV and the bathroom facilities are shared on the hallway.

The One Bedroom Apartment includes a seperate lounge with TV, kitchenette, a queen bed and the opportunity to add an additional single bedroom. Rates vary between $130 to $240 per night (room only, the Daylesford Hotel does not offer breakfast options) and can be booked here.
