Winespeake Cellar & Deli

Arguably located at the very best spot in Daylesford on the roundabout at the northern end of Vincent Street, Winespeake showcases the absolute best produce the region has on offer. Serving a combination of local wines, some of the best wines from around the world and local delicatessen.

We love Winespeake for a glass of wine on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon with a beautiful charcuterie platter, full of local delights. Winespeake is owned by Jen Latta and is originally al amalgamation of her previous two businesses Wine and Country and Dos Deli. The Latta family also owns one of the great local wineries Eastern Peake.

With over 800+ wines on offer, the team at Winespeake is sure to find a drop you like. If you found something you can have a drink at the bar, overlooking the Daylesford or take it away to enjoy at home.

Bookings and Opening Hours

Most tables at Winespeake are held for walk-ins, so you should generally be okay to  just stop by. Bookings are only accepted for groups and can be made on their website, which can be found here.

Winespeake is open 7 days a week, during the week (Monday to Thursday) from midday till late and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am until late.

Takeaway platters

Winespeake’s charcuterie platters are the best in town. While they are at the upper end of the scale in terms of pricing, the quality is fantastic and most ingredients are locally sourced. If you’re are coming to Daylesford with a large group (like a hen or girls weekend, see our tips and tricks here), arriving late on a Friday, these platters may just be perfect for your arrival.

The take-away platters come in two sizes, standard and large size and are available for purchase online for $50 and $100. You will just have to pick them up at Winespeake on arrival.
