Daylesford Saturday Farmers Market

In addition to the famous Daylesford Sunday Markets at the railway station, which are held every Sunday, the Saturday Farmers Markets are held in Daylesford on every fourth Saturday of the month from 9am until 1pm.

Organised by the Daylesford Rotary Club, the Saturday Farmers Markets are located at the Daylesford Primary School on Vincent Street. The markets showcase the best of produce the region has on offer, think fresh fruit, vegetables, chutneys, flowers, wine, spirits, liquors and so much more. Enjoy a fresh barista made coffee, other takeaway food and most months even a Daylesford Rotary Sausage Sizzle.

There is plenty of parking available on Vincent Street, the main street of Daylesford and is within walking distance of some of the best restaurants (like Hotel Frangos) and bars for a glass of wine after the market. We love Bar Marenda, a relative newcomer to the the Daylesford scene, but definitely worth a visit.

Daylesford Farmers Market Dates for 2023

The Daylesford Farmers Market is held every fourth Saturday of the month at the Daylesford Primary School on Vincent Street. For 2023, the dates are:

• 23rd of September 2023
• 28th of October 2023
• 25th of November 2023
• 23rd of December 2023 (pending confirmation that this will go ahead)

Farmers Markets in Daylesford Macedon Region

Most stall holders at the Daylesford Saturday Farmers Market are part of a travelling market that is based in a different town in the Daylesford Macedon Region every Saturday. So if you are in the region on another weekend, a farmers market will probably be on in a near by village.

Creswick Saturday Farmers Market

On only a 20 minute drive from Daylesford. Every first and third Saturday of the month between 9am and 1pm at the Creswick Neighbourhood Centre on Victoria Street in Creswick.

Glenlyon Village Market

Glenlyon is a cute village on a 10 to 15 minute drive from Daylesford. In the beautifully restored village hall, the Saturday Village Market is on every third Saturday of the month between 9am and 1pm.

Lancefield Farmers Market

On the same day as in Daylesford (so the fourth Saturday of the month) is the Lancefield Famers Market on Park Street, next to the primary school in Launcefield. Its a bit of a drive from Daylesford (about an hour), but definitely worth a visit. Every fourth Saturday between 9am and 1pm.

Macedon Village Farmers Market

The Macedon Village Farmers market is an extension of the Woodend Farmers Markets and held four times a year on the 5th Saturday of the month. Held at the Macedon Primary School and with a clear focus on sustainability, this market is a must visit.

Malmsbury Village Farmers Market

Malmsbury is on a short 25 minute drive from Daylesford and the Malmsbury Village Farmers Market is held every third Saturday of the month. Between 9am and 1pm, Mollison Street in Malmsbury shows off the best produce this region has on offer.

Trentham Farmers Market

Also held on the third Saturday of every month, in the town square of Trentham, right in front of The Cosmopolitan Hotel. The Trentham Farmers Market showcases beautiful fresh and seasonal produce from 9am until 1pm. And why not hang around for a pizza lunch as the Cosmopolitan hotel after?
