Hotel Frangos Deal Alert on Luxury Escapes

Its almost become an annual event and the much anticipated appearance of Hotel Frangos on Luxury Escapes has returned for a not so limited period.

Stays available until March 2023

The offer is available for stays until the 30th of March 2023, but must be booked before the 28th of February 2023. The deal is quite simple with the queen bed hotel rooms available from $200 per night ($199.50 to be precise) and $250 per night (or $249.50) for all king rooms. You must stay a minimum of two nights.

The package also includes daily à la carte breakfast at Koukla cafe, where you can pick one of the breakfast dishes along with a barista made coffee or orange juice. As well as a welcome drink on arrival (a glass of housewine or a beer) in the hotel AND a $30 voucher per room to spend during the day in Koukla cafe. To sweeten the deal, the check-out time has been moved to midday instead of the usual 10am.

If you upgrade to a King room at $250 per night, you will also get a EKO Skin Care Spa Wellness Pack with salts, oils and the like to fully relax while you pamper yourself in your room.

So is it a good deal?

Overall, it probably is. Especially the Queen rooms.

Usually, Hotel Frangos charge all their rooms at $259 per night regardless if that is during the week or weekend, and that doesn’t include breakfast or any of the extras. If we look at the lowest package (on Luxury Escapes for a Queen hotel room, 2 nights at $399 per room) that would normally be $648 per room. The luxury escapes package includes a $249 or nearly 40% discount.

Our calculations: $259 x 2 nights + $100 for breakfast ($25 per person, x two days including the barista coffee) + $30 of credit voucher in Koukla cafe = $648 per room for two nights.

For the King rooms it is slightly different. Still a good deal, but not half as good as the queen rooms. As mentioned before, Hotel Frangos usually don’t charge more for the larger king rooms. So while the king room packages are charged at $499 for 2 nights on Luxury escapes, they would normally be $648 per room, if you were to book this direct. So that includes a $149 or 20% discount on the Luxury escapes package. On top of that, you would receive the complimentary EKO Skin Care Spa Wellness Pack.
