The Daylesford Sunday Markets are held every Sunday on the grounds of the Daylesford Railway Station. Just off Ragland Street, it is right between Cliffy’s Emporium and The Farmers Arms Hotel.
About 100 odd stalls are available every Sunday from 8am and starts winding down around 1pm. At the top of the market, directly next to the Railway Station, browse the different types of local produce that are on offer. The Farmers Market side offers anything from dogs treats, to fruit, vegetables, local cider, spirits or even beautifully put together hampers. Alternatively, enjoy some of the stunning food from one of the food trucks like stunning bratwursts from the Daylesford Bratwurst Company. For the little ones there is often a petting zoo or a bouncy castle.
At the bottom of the hill, after you’ve gone down the stairs, the markets become like a flea market. Walk through the stalls selling pre-owned treasures, plants and clothes.
Parking is available either at the railway station, at the other side of the tracks (access via Ragland Street, just right of Cliffy’s) or via East Street, just beyond The Farmers Arms.
