The Daylesford Cider Company is an award wining cidery with a fantastic onsite restaurant and cellar door. What started in 2003 has now become a very well established cidery where 8 styles or ciders are produced, in addition to a couple of small batch seasonal varieties.
Daylesford Cider prides itself on using 100% fresh apple juice from their own orchards without adding any additional sugar. In early 2022, the cidery was awarded “Best traditional cider” at the National Australian Cider Awards.
The cellar door and bar are open 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm for a taste, a drink or buy some for at home. We can highly recommend the popular tasting paddle ($15 for 7 small glasses) to really understand the breadth of ciders that are produced here. From the quite sweet ciders, you may be used to, to some delicious dry varieties that almost taste like a sparkling wine.
